Simon Marshall is an artist and writer, and art therapist based in Scotland.

His paintings are inspired by coastlines and horizons, the thin spaces between enclosure and expanse; places in memory, both real and unreal.

As an Art Psychotherapist Simon has fifteen years experience working with and supporting people that have experienced trauma, or who live with a level of learning disability in enabling a kinder sense of self and stronger connections with others.

Simon is Deputy Head of Arts Psychotherapies, NHS Lothian.
He writes the blog The Art Therapy Manifesto.
